Hi, I’m Steffen Kemmerzehl, founder of Friendly Assist Accountancy and an AAT Licensed Accountant
I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, but what really motivates me is helping people understand their finances, solve problems, and feel more confident about their next steps.
My journey with numbers began in Germany, where I studied and researched at the University of Jena while also tutoring students in statistics and mathematics. This experience taught me that good support is not only about numbers. It is about explaining things clearly and helping people feel comfortable asking questions.
After moving to Newcastle upon Tyne more than eight years ago, I gained experience working in local accountancy firms before completing my AAT qualifications and becoming licensed and regulated by AAT (MAAT).
In 2024, I founded Friendly Assist Accountancy with a simple goal: to provide clear, friendly, and practical accounting support that helps clients feel informed, supported, and in control of their finances.
